Retail giant Target most recently collaborated with Hollywood’s most popular stylist, Kate Young, for a fashion line consisting mostly of occasion dresses and is aptly named, Kate Young for Target. The much-awaited launch event was held last April 9, 2013 at The Old School in New York City and featured a prom theme as evidenced by boutonnieres tied to guests’ wrists, models posing as teenage sweethearts, and a faux gym decorated with streamers, balloons, and shining disco ball at the center of the venue. To further liven up the event, the up and coming It-girl DJ Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor, daughter of Duran Duran’s John Taylor, spun groovy tunes as guests sipped pink champagne during the event made possible by Target.
The event was a success as the edgy, fashionable, and chic personalities from the entertainment, fashion, and music industries graced the red carpet launch. Among the attendees were Michelle Williams, Jason Wu, Derek Blasberg, Giada De Laurentiis, Kate Mara, Debby Ryan, Ally Hilfiger, and Lauren Bush among others. The 35-year old actress, Maggie Gyllenhaal, was also one of the celebrity models who were at the Tuesday evening bash. The gorgeous actress posed for the cameras wearing an elegant one-shoulder black star print dress designed by super stylist, Kate Young. She then accented her outfit with a two row diamond bracelet from the jewelry house of Jacob & Co. The stunning bracelet Maggie wore featured over 23 carats of square emerald and emerald cut diamonds and complemented her look beautifully.
The exquisite beauty of this 23-carat bracelet was not only seen worn by Maggie Gyllenhaal as celebrities and even members of the royal family were spotted to have worn the same bracelet design in the past few months. Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke was seen last March 18,2013 at the show’s Season 3 Premier held in TLC Chinese Theatre wearing a Victoria Beckham royal blue dress, Christian Louboutin shoes, and the magnificent two row diamond bracelet designed by Jeweler to the Stars himself, Jacob Arabov. Last October 22, 2012, the sophisticated royal, Princess Charlene of Monaco, was spotted wearing the same Jacob Arabov creation to the 30th Anniversary Princess Grace Awards Gala at 42nd Cipriani Street in New York City.
Jacob & Co. founder and lead designer of the jewelry house, Jacob Arabov, started creating exquisite pieces of jewelry twenty-five years ago.
